Victim short film has been officially selected for the prestigious International Vegan ÇİFTLİK Film Festival 2024 in Türkiye.

Victim directed by Bahman Radan and written by Sara Moradi, tackles the sensitive topic of animal sacrifice during Eid al-Adha through the eyes of a young boy who challenges tradition in an attempt to save a goat.

In many religions, countless animals are tragically killed in the name of God.
Victim confronts the tradition of sacrificing animals in the name of religion. We hope to spark critical thinking and challenge these established norms.

Taking lives for purification doesn’t absolve us; it perpetuates a cycle of suffering.- Bahman Radan

Organized by Vegan Farm, the Vegan ÇİFTLİK Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing works that raise awareness about animal rights violations across various domains. This year’s edition, taking place from June 14th to 18th, 2024, carries the theme “Animal Freedom.”
