“Victim” Selected for Screening at the 2024 Diogenes Short Film Festival in Georgia.
This marks the 9th international film festival appearance for the acclaimed short film The Victim, directed by Bahman Radan.
We are thrilled to announce that our short film, The Victim, has been selected to screen at the prestigious Diogenes 2024 Short Film Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia, this fall. This marks the ninth international selection of The Victim at global film festivals, further establishing its impact on the international stage.
Previously, The Victim was selected for the 2024 Vegan Çiftlik Film Festival in Turkey, the 2024 Madeira Curtas Film Festival in Portugal, the 13th RiuRau Film Festival in Spain, the 14th Animals Film Festival, the Pino Sciclone Film Festival in Italy, and the 16th edition of FilmOneFest in the United States. Additionally, the film won an award as one of the Top 100 Films at the 2024 Three Acts of Goodness Microfilm Festival in California and was a semifinalist at the Human-Environment Care Film Festival (HECFF) in Canada.

The Diogenes 2024 Short Film Festival is a dual-country event featuring screenings in both Odessa, Ukraine, and Tbilisi, Georgia. With the slogan “New Horizons, Creative Adventure, and Innovation,” Diogenes offers a unique platform for filmmakers to share their creative work with a global audience. Victim will be featured in the Autumn Festival in Georgia, running from September 15 to September 30, 2024.
Directed by Bahman Radan and written by Sara Moradi, Victim presents a thought-provoking narrative on animal sacrifice, drawing viewers into an emotionally charged story that resonates deeply across cultures.
