“Victim” Selected for the 14th Edition of the Animal Festival
We are thrilled to announce that the short film “Victim” has been officially selected for the Animal Festival (Mostra Internacional de Cinema pelos Animais, Mostra Animal).
About the Animal Festival:
The International Film Festival for the Animals (Mostra Internacional de Cinema para os Animais), organized by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society (Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira, SVB), has selected the film “Victim” for its 14th edition. This renowned event is dedicated to promoting the protection of animals and raising awareness about the socio-environmental impacts of human interaction with the animal kingdom.
This year, the festival will take place across several cities in Brazil, providing a broad platform for filmmakers to share their stories with a wide audience. The schedule is as follows:
- Florianópolis, SC: September 5th and 8th
- Blumenau, SC: September 14th and 15th
- Belo Horizonte, MG: October 4th to 7th
- Cuiabá, MT: October 26th and 27th
This is the sixth international screening of the film “Victim.” Previously, “Victim” was selected for the 2024 Vegan ÇİFTLİK Film Festival in Turkey, the 2024 Madeira Curtas Film Festival in Portugal, the 13th Riurau Film Festival in Spain, and the 16th edition of FilmOneFest in the USA. Additionally, it was awarded as one of the top 100 films at the Three Acts of Goodness Micro Film Festival 2024 in California.
