“Victim” Selected for the 22nd Edition of the Prestigious Alicante Film Festival, Spain
We are proud to announce that our short film, “Victim”, directed by Bahman Radan and written by Sara Moradi, and produced by AD1 Film Company, has been officially selected for the 22nd edition of the Alicante Film Festival in Spain. This internationally renowned event is an Oscar®-qualifying festival through the prestigious GOYA Awards, also known as the “Spanish Oscars.”
With this achievement, Victim proudly marks its 12th official international festival selection, continuing its inspiring journey across the global film circuit.
Notably, Victim is set to represent Iranian short cinema as the only Iranian short film competing in this year’s festival.

Prior to this prestigious selection, Victim has been recognized at an impressive array of international festivals around the world. These include the 13th Riurau Film Festival in Spain, the Vegan Çiftlik Film Festival 2024 in Turkey, and the Madeira Curtas Film Festival 2024 in Portugal. The film was also proudly showcased at FilmOneFest 2024 in New Jersey, USA, and the 14th Animal Festival 2024 in Brazil.
Further accolades include winning a spot among the Top 100 Films at the 2024 Three Acts of Goodness Film Festival in California, as well as official selections at the Pino Scicolone Film Festival in Italy, the 5th Diogenes Film Festival in Georgia, and the Diogenes Film Festival in Odesa, Ukraine. Victim was named a semifinalist at the Human-Environment Care Film Festival (HECFF) in Canada, and has also been officially selected for the Kuala Lumpur International Film Awards (KLIFA) 2025.
