Victim Begins Its International Festival Journey

Victim, directed and produced by Bahman Radan from a screenplay by Sara Moradi, has begun its international festival journey.

A short film exploring a child’s view of tradition and life

The film follows a child who tries to protect the family’s goat during Eid al-Adha. Through the child’s perspective, Victim explores the tension between inherited traditions and an individual connection with another living being.

Following its completion in Türkiye, the film entered the international festival submission process as part of its wider presentation strategy.

The creative team

Bahman Radan directed, produced and photographed the film. The screenplay is by Sara Moradi, with editing and colour grading by Zahra Radanfar and music and sound design by Siavash Beigi. The project was produced by AD1 FILM in Türkiye.
