Victim Selected for Un Brin de Court’s First Edition in Vichy

Victim joined the Free Theme competition of the first Un Brin de Court festival in Vichy, France.

A competition for fiction films under three minutes

Un Brin de Court is built around fiction films running between one and three minutes. The first edition will take place on 15 and 16 November 2025 at the Backstep Theatre in Vichy.

Victim, which runs for two minutes and 23 seconds, is scheduled for the Free Theme programme on 15 November at 19:00. The films will be assessed by a professional jury, with an audience vote also included in the event.

The film

Directed and produced by Bahman Radan from a screenplay by Sara Moradi, the short follows a boy who tries to protect the family’s goat during Eid al-Adha. The animal is part of a ritual for the adults and a living companion for the child.
