Victim Heads to France: Selected for the ‘Un Brin de Court’ Festival

Vichy, France – “Victim,” the silent short film from AD1 Film, has been named an Official Selection at the prestigious Un Brin de Court International Short Film Festival. The film, directed by Bahman Radan and written by Sara Moradi, will compete in the festival’s main competition.

This powerful drama, which tells the story of a boy’s attempt to save a goat from ritual sacrifice, was chosen from a field of 722 international submissions. It is one of only 60 films selected for the festival’s “Free Theme” competitive program.

Following the selection, Festival Director Pascal Jousse extended a formal invitation to Radan and Moradi to attend the event in person [read the official invitation announcement here]. The festival, organized by the Vichy Audiovisual Club, will run from November 14-16, 2025.

Prior to its selection in Vichy, “Victim” had already attracted international recognition, screening at festivals in Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, and the United States, and earning awards along the way. This latest honor at the Un Brin de Court Festival further strengthens the film’s growing festival journey.
