“That Also Breathes” Officially Selected for the 9th Mostra Animal Festival
We are honored to announce that the short fiction film That Also Breathes, written by Sara Moradi and directed by Bahman Radanfar, has been officially selected for screening at the 9th International Film Festival for the Animals (Mostra Animal) in Curitiba, Brazil.
According to the official selection certificates, signed by Festival Coordinator Erik Alexandre Pucci, both the writer-producer Sara Zeinab Moradi and the director Bahman Radanfar have been formally invited to attend the event in person. The program will also include a Q&A session with the filmmakers, offering the audience the opportunity to engage directly with the creative minds behind the film. The Mostra Animal Festival will take place on July 22–23, 2023, hosted at the Cinemateca de Curitiba, one of Brazil’s most important cultural venues. This marks the second international screening of That Also Breathes, following its presentation at the Vegan Çiftlik Short Film Festival in Turkey earlier this year.

Organized by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society (Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira, SVB), the Mostra Animal Festival is a pioneering international event dedicated to raising awareness about animal protection, human-animal relations, and socio-environmental issues. Founded in 2009, the festival seeks to inspire dialogue and promote a more compassionate world through the power of cinema.
