Through recorded scene work, playback, role development and directorial guidance, your work progresses towards performing a role in an AD1 FILM short film created for your age group.
AGE GROUPS
Children explore expression, imagination and confidence through age-appropriate role play, camera exercises and short scenes. They practise listening, natural response and following simple direction within a safe production environment.
Young actors work with character, scene relationships, emotional choices and camera awareness. Recorded scenes help them recognise their natural strengths and turn personal expression into more focused screen performance before taking part in the group short film.
For beginners, theatre performers and actors developing a more truthful and specific relationship with the camera. The work explores how face, body, voice, rhythm, stillness and emotional response can serve a character.
THE PROCESS
Recorded exercises reveal how the camera reads your gaze, voice, movement, stillness, tension and emotional response. Playback provides a clear starting point for developing the work.
Work from the screenplay to understand the character’s objective, relationships, contradictions and unspoken thoughts. Your individual qualities become material for the role.
Rehearse with direction, blocking, continuity and technical marks, then bring the developed role into the AD1 FILM short-film production for your group.

Bahman Radan is a film director, producer and writer working across Iran and Türkiye. He leads the role-development and short-film process, helping participants understand how their individual presence can serve the screenplay, the character and the camera.

HOW TO JOIN
Send your name, age and previous acting experience on WhatsApp. Previous experience is not required.
Discuss your goals and complete a short recorded exercise to experience the programme’s working method.
The team confirms the suitable age group, current schedule, programme terms and next enrolment step.

Yes. The programme is open to complete beginners, theatre performers and actors who want to develop their work for the camera. Group placement is decided through the initial first camera session.
The programme runs in three groups: ages 9–11, ages 12–17 and adults aged 18+.
Eight months, with one session per week. Each session lasts two hours.
Each class is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
The current official tuition is TRY 15,000 per month, VAT included. The previous monthly programme tuition was TRY 23,000. Current enrolment and payment terms are shared during the application process.
The team reviews your age group, goals, availability, previous experience where relevant and response to a short recorded exercise. Application does not automatically confirm group placement.
Every participant who successfully completes the programme requirements performs in the short film produced for their group.
Role type, role size, dialogue, scene count and screen time are determined by the screenplay, age group, production requirements and the director’s creative decisions.
The programme includes professional actor photography, an actor CV and profile, a dedicated profile page, and showreel or selected recorded scene material under the applicable programme and publication terms.
After completion, a festival strategy is prepared and the film may be submitted to appropriate festivals. Selection and awards are not guaranteed.
No. AD1 FILM is a film production company. The programme does not guarantee agency representation, employment or roles in external productions.
Parent or guardian consent is required. Filming, image use, publication and production-day terms are handled through the programme agreement.
