Return Begins Its International Festival Submission Process

Return, directed and produced by Bahman Radan from a screenplay by Sara Moradi, has entered the international festival submission process.

A new short moving into festival circulation

The film follows the spirit of a murdered mother who remains close to the child she was trying to protect. As memory and identity begin to overlap, the story moves between grief, attachment and the possibility that apparently separate lives may be connected.

AD1 FILM is presenting the project to selected festivals, with its submission calendar shaped around programme eligibility, format and timing. International distribution is handled by IranFilmPort.

The creative team

Bahman Radan also served as director of photography. Zahra Radanfar edited and colour graded the film and supervised script continuity, while Sina Masserrat created the music and sound. The principal cast includes Çigil Ünsal, Bülent Akkaş and Ramazan Öğüt.
