These Project Submission and Review Terms govern projects, proposals, documents, links and other materials submitted to AD1 FİLM PRODÜKSİYON TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ through the Project Review Form.

By selecting the relevant confirmation box and submitting the form, the applicant confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms. Submission creates only the limited review arrangement described below and does not create a production, co-production, financing, representation, distribution, agency, partnership, employment or confidentiality relationship.

1. AD1 FILM and the Applicant

For the purposes of these Terms, “AD1 FILM” means AD1 FİLM PRODÜKSİYON TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ. Current corporate information is available on the Legal Notice and Company Information page.

The “Applicant” means the individual who submits the Project Review Form personally or as an authorised representative of a filmmaker, producer, rights holder, company, organisation or project team.

The “Project Materials” include information, files and links submitted through or in connection with the Project Review Form, including screenplays, treatments, pitch decks, lookbooks, budgets, finance plans, schedules, biographies, screeners, trailers, electronic press kits, posters, stills, subtitles, technical information, festival records and rights or availability information.

2. Eligibility and Authority

The Project Review Form may only be used by persons who are at least eighteen years old.

An Applicant acting for another person, a company, an organisation, a project team or a rights holder confirms that they have sufficient authority to submit the relevant information and Project Materials for review.

AD1 FILM may request reasonable evidence of identity, authority, rights ownership or representation where this is relevant to the proposed review or collaboration.

3. Purpose of the Submission

The purpose of the Project Review Form is to allow AD1 FILM to conduct an initial assessment of the Project, the Applicant’s objectives, the available materials, the requested role and whether an appropriate working route may exist.

The submission is not a binding offer by AD1 FILM and does not require AD1 FILM to accept the Project, provide services, invest funds, enter into a co-production, represent the Project, submit it to festivals, distribute it or enter into negotiations.

Any proposed collaboration is subject to a separate written proposal or agreement addressing the relevant scope, rights, responsibilities, timetable, fees, expenses, financing, approvals, deliverables and termination conditions.

4. Rights and Authority Concerning Submitted Materials

The Applicant confirms that they own or control the rights necessary to submit the Project Materials for review or have been duly authorised by the relevant rights holder to do so.

The Applicant should submit only information and materials that are relevant to the requested review and that may lawfully be shared with AD1 FILM.

The Applicant remains responsible for obtaining any permission required to disclose information concerning co-writers, directors, producers, actors, crew members, investors, partners, rights holders or other third parties identified in the submission.

The Applicant should not submit material that unlawfully infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, contractual or other third-party rights.

5. Ownership of the Project

Submission does not transfer ownership of the Project or the Project Materials to AD1 FILM.

Except for the limited review permission stated in these Terms, no copyright, economic right, trademark right, project ownership, adaptation right, production right, sequel right, remake right, format right, distribution right or other exploitation right is assigned or licensed to AD1 FILM merely because a submission has been made.

Any acquisition, assignment, option, licence, production right, co-production interest, distribution right or other exploitation arrangement must be expressly set out in a separate written agreement signed by duly authorised representatives of the relevant parties.

6. Limited Permission for Review

The Applicant grants AD1 FILM a non-exclusive, royalty-free and limited permission to receive, store, technically reproduce, open, access, organise and internally review the Project Materials solely for the following purposes:

  • Checking whether the submission is complete and accessible;
  • Assessing the Project and the Applicant’s request;
  • Conducting internal administrative, technical and legal review;
  • Communicating with the Applicant and requesting additional information;
  • Preparing a possible meeting, proposal, scope of work or next-step communication;
  • Maintaining reasonable security, backup and evidentiary records connected with the submission;
  • Establishing, exercising or protecting legal rights.

This limited permission does not authorise AD1 FILM to produce, adapt, publish, distribute, sell, license, commercially exploit or publicly disclose the Project or Project Materials.

The limited permission ends when the relevant Project Materials are deleted from AD1 FILM’s active systems, except for records that may lawfully be retained for technical security, legal compliance or protection of rights.

7. Confidentiality

Submitting a Project through the Project Review Form does not by itself create a non-disclosure agreement, fiduciary duty or contractual confidentiality relationship between the Applicant and AD1 FILM.

AD1 FILM nevertheless applies reasonable access controls and handles submitted materials through the internal review process described in these Terms and the applicable privacy notice.

AD1 FILM does not publish Project Materials or disclose them to external substantive reviewers merely because they have been submitted.

An Applicant who requires a binding confidentiality commitment before sharing particularly sensitive or unpublished material should ensure that a separate written confidentiality agreement has been signed before submitting that material.

8. Similar and Independently Developed Projects

AD1 FILM and persons working with it may independently receive, review, develop or work on projects that contain themes, subjects, genres, settings, characters, situations, production approaches or general creative concepts that resemble elements of the submitted Project.

The existence of a general similarity does not by itself establish that AD1 FILM has copied or used the Applicant’s protectable material.

This section does not authorise AD1 FILM to copy or exploit protected expression, confidential material subject to a separate written confidentiality obligation or rights owned by the Applicant.

9. Review Process

AD1 FILM aims to review complete and accessible submissions in a professional manner. The timing and depth of review may depend on the Project’s stage, the completeness of the materials, current workload, strategic relevance and the nature of the requested role.

AD1 FILM may:

  • Check whether the required information and materials have been provided;
  • Request clarification or additional documents;
  • Invite the Applicant to an online or in-person meeting;
  • Propose a different service or collaboration structure;
  • Determine that there is no suitable working route at that time;
  • Close the review without requesting further information.

AD1 FILM is not required to provide detailed creative, legal, financial or commercial feedback on every submission.

No silence, acknowledgement email, meeting, request for further information or preliminary discussion constitutes acceptance of the Project or a commitment to collaborate.

10. No Guarantee of Outcome

Submission and review do not guarantee development, production, financing, co-production, casting, festival selection, sales representation, distribution, publicity, commercial success or any other outcome.

Any indication of possible interest is preliminary unless it is expressly confirmed in a separate written agreement signed by an authorised representative of AD1 FILM.

11. Submission Format and Technical Requirements

The Applicant should use the file types, size limits and number of uploads stated in the Project Review Form.

Video files and large folders should be shared through a private link with appropriate access settings rather than uploaded directly where the form instructs the Applicant to do so.

The Applicant is responsible for ensuring that links remain accessible for a reasonable review period and that any password or access instruction provided is accurate.

AD1 FILM may be unable to review files that are corrupted, inaccessible, password-protected without valid credentials, technically incompatible or affected by harmful software.

12. Information That Should Not Be Submitted

Unless specifically requested in writing by AD1 FILM for a defined and lawful purpose, the Applicant should not submit:

  • Passports, identity cards or full identity-document numbers;
  • Personal bank-account credentials, payment-card data or passwords;
  • Health, biometric, genetic or psychological information;
  • Criminal records or allegations unrelated to the proposed review;
  • Home addresses or private contact details that are not necessary for the application;
  • Personal data concerning children;
  • Information that the Applicant is contractually or legally prohibited from disclosing;
  • Malicious code, unlawful content or files that may compromise website or system security.

13. Internal Access and External Review

Access to submissions within AD1 FILM is limited to authorised persons who require access for the relevant administrative, technical, legal or project-review purpose.

Project Materials are not shared with investors, production partners, external consultants, sales agents, distributors or other substantive external reviewers unless the Applicant has been informed and an appropriate legal basis, authorisation or separate written arrangement has been established.

AD1 FILM may use hosting, infrastructure, security and technical-service providers to receive, store and protect submissions. Processing by those providers is addressed in the Project Applicants Privacy Notice.

14. Communications and Applicant Conduct

The Applicant should provide accurate contact information and communicate professionally throughout the review process.

The Applicant should promptly inform AD1 FILM of a material change concerning rights ownership, representation authority, project status, financing, attached parties or the availability of submitted materials where that change may affect the review.

General enquiries may be made through the official contact page. Project Materials should be submitted only through the designated Project Review Form unless AD1 FILM provides a different written instruction.

15. Withdrawal and Closure

The Applicant may ask AD1 FILM to close an active review by using the official contact channel and identifying the relevant Project.

Following a valid withdrawal request, AD1 FILM may discontinue active review and handle the submitted information in accordance with the applicable retention and privacy rules.

Withdrawal does not invalidate actions lawfully taken before the request was received and does not require deletion of records that must or may lawfully be retained for security, legal obligations, dispute prevention or protection of rights.

16. Personal Data and Retention

Personal data connected with a submission is processed in accordance with the Project Applicants Privacy Notice.

Applications that are incomplete, withdrawn, declined or closed without progressing to a further working relationship are ordinarily retained for no longer than 180 days after the review is closed, subject to applicable legal, security and rights-protection requirements.

The privacy notice is provided for information and is separate from the Applicant’s contractual acceptance of these Project Submission and Review Terms.

17. Automated Decision-Making

The Project Review Form does not automatically accept, reject, finance, approve or rank a Project.

Any decision concerning a possible working route is made separately by authorised persons within AD1 FILM.

18. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated following changes to the Project Review Form, review process, technical infrastructure, services or applicable legal requirements.

The version in effect at the time of submission applies to that submission unless the Applicant and AD1 FILM agree otherwise in writing.

19. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction and Language

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Mandatory rights, authorities and venue rules arising under applicable law remain reserved.

For disputes not subject to a mandatory authority, exclusive jurisdiction or another mandatory venue rule, the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Antalya, Türkiye shall have jurisdiction.

In the event of any difference, inconsistency or interpretation conflict between the Turkish and English versions of these Terms, the Turkish version shall prevail.
