Alicante Film Festival Extends Official Invitation to Bahman Radan and Sara Moradi
Following the international success of the short film “Victim”, Spain’s prestigious Goya-qualifying Alicante Film Festival has extended an official invitation to director Bahman Radan and writer Sara Moradi to attend the 22nd edition of the event.

This special invitation, addressed directly to the creators of the film, highlights the festival’s recognition of Victim’s artistic vision and profound impact. Their presence at Alicante will not only represent Iranian short cinema on a global stage but also provide a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives with leading filmmakers from around the world.
This honor comes shortly after the film’s official selection at the 22nd Alicante Film Festival, previously announced [here — link to the first news release].
Reflecting on the invitation, director Bahman Radan stated:
“We are deeply grateful for this recognition from such a prestigious festival. For us, this invitation goes beyond personal honor; it is an opportunity to share the film’s core question on a global platform: Can true redemption or peace be achieved through suffering and the taking of a life? We hope Victim sparks a dialogue that encourages compassion over outdated traditions of violence.”
AD1 Film Company regards this invitation as a meaningful opportunity to promote a culture of peace and kindness toward all living beings on an international stage, and looks forward to the contribution its representatives will bring to this important cinematic event.
