ANNOUNCEMENT

The Three Acts of Goodness International Microfilm Contest is an online film competition organised by the New Media Development Committee of Buddha’s Light International Association World Headquarters. Its creative framework is built around three principles—do good deeds, speak good words and think good thoughts—and asks filmmakers to translate those ideas into stories rather than slogans.

Films may run from three to thirty minutes and can be produced by individuals or groups. The competition values narrative clarity, original audiovisual work and an ethical perspective that remains compatible with its themes of kindness, reflection and social responsibility. Each edition introduces a specific prompt; the current cycle, “What to Doubt?”, uses questioning as a starting point for thought and understanding.

With an international online structure and a substantial awards programme, the contest is particularly suited to filmmakers interested in moral choice, community, education and humanistic storytelling.
