FESTIVAL STRATEGY & FILM POSITIONING
A tailored strategy based on the film’s format, genre, current position and objectives.
FFTG Awards Film Fest is a fully digital competition with a wide 2026 category map spanning conventional film forms and newer formats such as vertical film, micro drama and AI-generated work.
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED / FESTIVAL UPCOMING
FFTG Awards Film Fest runs as a fully digital festival and awards programme. Its sixth edition uses a broad category system rather than one narrow genre identity, covering feature and short films, documentary, animation, experimental work and screenplays alongside newer formats such as vertical film, micro drama and AI-generated film. It also includes categories connected to filmmaker identity and career stage.
The published process states that films are watched in full, with an initial jury response followed by final curation. For 2026, submissions must generally have been completed on or after 1 January 2025 and must be in English or carry English subtitles; student and young-filmmaker categories require valid ID. The current calendar runs through successive deadlines to 18 October, notification on 15 November, and a digital festival from 29 November to 13 December.
