FESTIVAL STRATEGY & FILM POSITIONING
A tailored strategy based on the film’s format, genre, current position and objectives.
Accolade Global Film Competition is a long-running virtual awards programme in which films are reviewed privately, so participation does not itself create a public screening or premiere.
PAST EDITION
Accolade Global Film Competition is an international virtual awards programme rather than a traditional screening festival. It accepts work across film, television and new media, with a large category map covering projects and individual craft areas. The organisers state that only judges view the films, so entering the competition does not itself use a filmmaker’s public premiere status.
Entries in languages other than English must be subtitled. Multiple projects may be submitted and a single project may be entered in multiple categories. Recognition is issued at several award levels and the competition also operates an annual Humanitarian Award process for eligible works dealing with areas such as social justice, animal welfare, political, environmental, wellness or conscious-awareness issues.
