This Contact, Quote and General Enquiries Privacy Notice explains how personal data is processed when you contact AD1 FILM through its general contact channels, departmental email routes or quote and service-enquiry forms.
This Notice does not apply to project submissions, Bahar conversations, casting applications, crew applications or workshop participation. Those processes are covered by separate privacy notices available through the Privacy Centre.
1. Data Controller
The data controller is AD1 FİLM PRODÜKSİYON TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“AD1 FILM” or the “Company”).

2. Personal Data That May Be Processed
Depending on the contact method and the nature of your enquiry, the following categories of personal data may be processed:
- Identity and contact information: name, surname, email address, telephone number, country and city.
- Professional and company information: company or organisation name, professional role, website and business information.
- Enquiry and service information: requested service, project or production type, intended audience, publication channels, proposed budget, timetable and the content of your message.
- Communication records: emails, responses, meeting notes and follow-up correspondence.
- Technical and security information: IP address, submission date and time, browser and device information, form logs and security-verification records.
Users should not include identity documents, payment credentials, health information or other sensitive or unnecessary personal data in a general enquiry unless AD1 FILM has specifically requested the relevant information in writing.
3. Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Receiving, recording and directing the enquiry to the appropriate team or communication route;
- Understanding the requested service, production, collaboration or quote;
- Responding to questions and requesting additional information where necessary;
- Assessing whether AD1 FILM can provide the requested service or enter into relevant discussions;
- Preparing a meeting, preliminary scope, quotation or written proposal;
- Managing pre-contractual communications and, where applicable, preparing a separate agreement;
- Maintaining the technical operation and security of contact systems;
- Complying with applicable legal obligations and lawful requests from authorised authorities;
- Establishing, exercising or protecting legal rights.
General enquiry information is not used to send advertising or promotional messages unless a separate, optional and legally valid marketing permission has been obtained.
4. Collection Methods
Personal data is collected electronically when you send an email, complete an enquiry or quote form, provide information during correspondence or communicate with an authorised AD1 FILM representative.
Technical information may also be collected through WordPress, the hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare, form-security tools and related service logs.
5. Legal Grounds
Personal data may be processed where processing:
- is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract or to perform an existing contractual relationship;
- is necessary for AD1 FILM to comply with a legal obligation;
- is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right; or
- is necessary for the legitimate interests of AD1 FILM, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not adversely affected.
This Notice is provided for information. You are not asked to approve or consent to the contents of this Notice.
6. Recipients and Service Providers
Personal data may be disclosed, only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose, to:
- Authorised AD1 FILM personnel responsible for the relevant enquiry or service area;
- Email, hosting, infrastructure, form-security and technical-support providers;
- Professional advisers where legal, financial, technical or information-security support is necessary;
- Courts, administrative authorities and other legally authorised public bodies where disclosure is required by law or necessary for the protection of rights.
General enquiries are not shared with investors, production partners or other substantive external parties unless you have been informed and an appropriate legal basis or written arrangement has been established.
7. Transfers Outside Türkiye
The hosting, email, security and technical services used in connection with enquiries may process personal data outside Türkiye or make personal data accessible from outside Türkiye.
Transfers outside Türkiye are carried out only where a lawful transfer condition exists and, where required, an appropriate safeguard or another legally recognised transfer mechanism has been established in accordance with Article 9 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.
8. Retention
General enquiries and quote requests that do not progress to a contractual or ongoing working relationship are ordinarily retained for no longer than two years after the last substantive communication.
Where the enquiry progresses to a proposal, contract, project or service relationship, relevant records may be transferred to the appropriate commercial, project, finance or legal file and retained in accordance with the applicable contractual and statutory requirements.
Personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised when the relevant processing purpose and applicable retention requirement have ended.
9. Data Security
AD1 FILM applies appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, disclosure or unlawful use.
10. Rights of Data Subjects
You may exercise your rights under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 by using the methods explained on the Data Subject Request Form page.
11. Changes to This Notice
This Notice may be updated following changes to contact channels, forms, processing activities, service providers or applicable legal requirements.
12. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction and Language
This Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Mandatory application and complaint rights before the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority and other legally competent authorities remain reserved.
For disputes not subject to a mandatory authority, exclusive jurisdiction or another mandatory venue rule, the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Antalya, Türkiye shall have jurisdiction.
In the event of any difference, inconsistency or interpretation conflict between the Turkish and English versions of this Notice, the Turkish version shall prevail.
