Burnt Dreams, written and directed by Hamoon Mirzaei, has entered the international festival submission phase with worldwide distribution handled by AD1 FILM.

A completed short moving into festival circulation

The film follows Leila, whose plan to leave Iran is interrupted when her husband Ahmad is arrested shortly before her flight. When he returns to their apartment after his release, abandoned immigration documents and an emptied home reveal the cost of what has happened.

The submission campaign is being developed around festivals whose programmes match the film’s dramatic, political and migration-related themes.
