Registration Steps

1. Application & Appointment: Schedule your audition via WhatsApp.
2. Audition & Evaluation: Your voice, body language, emotional expression, and on-camera potential will be evaluated through a short scene or test shoot.
3.Training Phase: Candidates who pass the audition are accepted into the professional on-camera acting program, where they take part in role tests, scene analysis, and hands-on camera practice.
4. Film Preparation Stage: After completing the training, participants move into the rehearsal, pre-production, and filming stages for AD1 Film’s upcoming feature project.

Tuition & Payment

The audition is free. Tuition is paid only upon acceptance.

How long is the program and what’s the weekly schedule?

The program runs for 8 months, featuring one intensive session per week, supported by individual assignments and on-camera practice.

Where does the training take place?

 

The training takes place at Özgün Theatre Academy, using professional-grade cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
Participants practice on-camera performance in an environment designed to replicate real film set conditions.

Do I need prior experience?

 

Every applicant first participates in an audition. Your prior experience is taken into consideration during this evaluation.
If you meet the required skill level, you’ll be placed directly into the advanced group.
If you’re not quite ready yet, you’ll start in the beginner group to build a strong foundation before moving forward.

Is a film role guaranteed?

We coach you to on-camera, professional standards—but roles depend on artistic fit, evaluation, and production needs. You must pass the assessment to gain a casting opportunity for AD1’s upcoming film— not automatic casting.

Will sessions be recorded?

Select sessions may be filmed for coaching purposes; Usage rights for public release are defined in the media consent you approve.

What should I prepare for the audition?
  • Monologue: 60–90 seconds (stage or screen). Choose material that fits your age range & type. Memorized, rehearsed, truthful.
  • Look: Clean, neutral clothing (solid colors), comfortable shoes. No heavy jewelry, no noisy accessories.
  • Hair & Makeup: Hair away from face; natural/minimal makeup (camera-friendly). Avoid heavy contour, glitter, or harsh eyeliner.
  • Grooming: Fresh, tidy, neutral nails; bring water and a small notebook/pen.
  • Professionalism: Arrive 10–15 min early, phone silenced, be ready to take direction and adjust.
  • (Optional) Slate (name + piece) if asked; bring a headshot/résumé if you have one.
Do I need to look like a model to get a film role?

Absolutely not. What matters to us is your acting potential and your ability to bring your inner world to the character—not your looks.
Unique traits—such as speech differences, physical distinctions, natural facial lines, or age marks—don’t limit you; they make you stand out.
Our goal is to help you embrace what makes you unique, find the role that fits you best, and prepare you to bring that character to life.

Do I need to pay a fee for the audition?

No. The audition is held solely to evaluate your talent and potential, and it’s completely free of charge.
If you pass the initial evaluation, you may enroll in one of our Theatre & Drama Acting or On-Camera Acting & Role Preparation programs.

This 8-month, project-based journey is limited to 20 actors only — each guided, challenged, and prepared for AD1 Film’s next feature.
