Four AD1 FILM Shorts Join the KLIFA 2025 Selection
Four AD1 FILM short films — Victim, Return, Smile and That Also Breathes — joined the official selection of the 2025 Kuala Lumpur International Film Awards in Malaysia.
Four films, four different creative routes
Victim, Return and That Also Breathes were directed by Bahman Radan. Smile was directed by Kian Parsi and produced by Bahman Radan.
The group selection brings together work concerned with different forms of pressure and moral choice: a child protecting an animal, a mother’s unresolved bond with her child, a woman confronting an assigned expression, and the ethical distance between animals people love and animals they consume.
Current festival status
The verified result for all four films is Official Selection. Individual screening details, nominations and awards had not been announced at the time of publication.
